CargoScope LLC (“SalesScope”, “we”, “us”) uses the companies below to run SalesScope. Where they process personal data that our customers put into SalesScope, they are our subprocessors under the Data Processing Addendum. Some also process data that we control, as our Privacy Policy explains. Each one is bound, by a written contract or by its published terms, to protect the data and to use it only to provide its service, except where the table says otherwise.
No advertising, analytics or data broker company receives data from SalesScope.

About the DNS lookups
To check an email address, SalesScope asks public DNS services whether the domain after the @ can receive mail, and it checks the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records of your sending domains. These services receive only the domain names being looked up. They never receive full email addresses, names or anything else about your contacts, and the lookups come from SalesScope’s servers, not from your browser. What DNS says about a domain is public information. We ask several services so that address checks keep working when one of them is slow or unavailable.
Mail providers you connect
Your own mailboxes live with your mail provider, under your agreement with that provider: Google for Gmail and Google Workspace, Microsoft for Outlook.com and Microsoft 365, or whichever provider you connect through SMTP. We list Google and Microsoft above because SalesScope reaches Gmail mailboxes through Google’s API, and Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 mailboxes through Microsoft Graph. A provider you connect through SMTP receives the email you send from that mailbox, as it would from any other email app.
How we announce changes
We update this page at least 14 days before a new subprocessor starts processing customer personal data. In an emergency, such as replacing a provider quickly to keep SalesScope running or secure, we update it as soon as we can. Account admins who want an email whenever this list changes can ask at legal@salesscope.io. Under the Data Processing Addendum, customers may object to a new subprocessor on reasonable data protection grounds.
