SalesScope vs Instantly: an Instantly alternative with the CRM sheet and call queue in every seat

Instantly is built to send cold email at volume from many mailboxes for a flat price. SalesScope suits a sales team that calls and emails the same leads from one shared sheet; if raw sending volume is the job, Instantly is likely the better fit.

Weighing an Instantly alternative? Start with what each tool is for. Instantly is a cold email platform built for volume: every Outreach plan connects unlimited email accounts with unlimited warm-up, priced by contacts and emails a month rather than by person, with CRM, calling and lead data sold separately. SalesScope is an outbound workspace: one spreadsheet-style sheet of contacts with sequences, a call queue, an inbox for replies and reminders on the same rows, priced per person with mailboxes included.

Quick verdict

  • Choose Instantly if sending volume is the job: dozens of mailboxes, a large warm-up network, a B2B lead database, done-for-you domains and accounts, or a separate workspace for each client.
  • Choose SalesScope if your reps call and email the same leads and you want one sheet to be the CRM, the call list and the campaign audience, with address checks before every bulk send, a bounce breaker on by default, and per-person pricing in US dollars or rupees.

Where Instantly is strong

Instantly is ahead of SalesScope in several places.

  • Volume at a flat price. Every Outreach plan connects unlimited email accounts with unlimited warm-up. Hypergrowth is US$97 a month for 25,000 uploaded contacts and 125,000 emails a month, whether you connect five mailboxes or fifty.
  • A large warm-up network. Instantly says its deliverability pool has over 1,000,000 real email accounts, with a slow ramp and a dashboard of inbox and spam placement.
  • Lead data and AI. A database of 450M+ B2B leads and AI agents run on a separate credits subscription; Growth Credits is US$47 a month for 1,500 credits.
  • Infrastructure on tap. Domains (US$15 a year) and Google accounts (US$5 a month, or US$10 pre-warmed) are sold inside Instantly.
  • Agencies. Separate workspaces keep each client’s data apart under one login.
  • A CRM with calling for a flat fee. The AI CRM puts email, calls, SMS and tasks in one inbox, with unlimited seats on one subscription.

Its own guardrails pause campaigns past 5% bounces and skip addresses its data marks as risky. And it warms Google Workspace and Outlook mailboxes.

Where SalesScope is different

The sheet is the CRM, the call list and the audience

In Instantly, campaign leads and CRM opportunities sit apart, and the CRM is its own subscription. In SalesScope every contact is a row in one spreadsheet-style sheet with stages, owners and your own columns. Press Dialer and those rows become the call queue; start a campaign and the same rows are its audience; a reply, a call outcome or a stage change lands on the row’s timeline. Nothing is exported, re-imported or reconciled.

Today and reminders

Each rep starts from Today: the day’s calls, follow-ups, meetings and tasks, overdue first. Booked callbacks and meetings ring 10 minutes before and at the time; sequence call and task steps land in the same list.

One sending limit per mailbox

Every mailbox shows one number for what it can still send today, with the reason that binds it: the warm-up ramp, the provider’s ceiling (Gmail 500 a day, Google Workspace 1,500 by default, Outlook.com 300), a person’s cap or the mailbox’s own setting. Automated sending stops a little short of the ceiling, so a rep can still answer a prospect by hand; see Gmail sending limits.

Address checks before every bulk send

A campaign or sequence won’t enroll an address nobody has checked. Validation looks at syntax, typos of major providers, disposable and role addresses, the domain’s mail servers, and your own bounce and unsubscribe history. It is part of the plan, not a credit pack, and it checks the address and its domain rather than probing the mailbox.

A bounce breaker that waits for validation

Instantly pauses a campaign when bounces climb; SalesScope judges each mailbox on everything it sent in the past 7 days. Once a mailbox has at least 50 sends and its bounce rate passes the workspace’s limit (5% by default), it goes on a 48-hour hold, every active sequence on it pauses, and its owner is emailed. Those sequences stay paused until the rest of their audience has been validated and someone resumes them. See deliverability guardrails.

Per-person pricing, in dollars or rupees

A SalesScope seat is a rep’s whole workspace: sheet, call queue, Today, inbox and, on Team, 5 mailboxes. Plans don’t meter emails a month; each mailbox’s daily limit does. Companies in India pay in rupees: ₹1,999 per person a month on Team, before GST.

Pricing compared

List prices as of October 2026, before tax. One Instantly Outreach plan covers the workspace, and team invites start on Hypergrowth. Phone numbers and calling credit for Instantly’s CRM are extra and not counted here. SalesScope Team is US$39 per person a month, or US$390 per person a year.

A team of 3

  • SalesScope Team: 3 × US$39 = US$117 a month, or 3 × US$390 = US$1,170 a year, with 15 mailboxes and 250,000 contacts.
  • Instantly Hypergrowth: US$97 a month, or 12 × US$77.60 = US$931.20 a year: unlimited email accounts, 25,000 uploaded contacts, 125,000 emails a month.
  • Instantly Hypergrowth with Growth CRM: US$97 + US$47 = US$144 a month, for a pipeline with calls and SMS.

A team of 10

  • SalesScope Team: 10 × US$39 = US$390 a month, or US$3,900 a year, with 50 mailboxes. Company (a workspace per team or client, no contact limit): 10 × US$69 = US$690 a month, or US$6,900 a year.
  • Instantly: still US$97 a month on Hypergrowth if 25,000 contacts and 125,000 emails a month are enough, or US$194 with Hyper CRM. Light Speed is US$358 a month for 100,000 contacts and 500,000 emails.

Read plainly: on list price Instantly costs less for a team of three or more, and the gap widens with headcount. SalesScope’s price pays for each rep’s whole workspace, not a sending engine alone. Mailboxes widen the gap too: SalesScope bills mailboxes beyond a seat’s five as extra seats, so one person with 30 mailboxes on Team is 6 seats, or US$234 a month. For one person with three mailboxes, though, SalesScope Solo at US$19 a month costs less than Instantly Growth at US$47. Our cold email capacity calculator shows how many mailboxes a plan needs.

Switching from Instantly to SalesScope

  1. Export your leads. In Instantly’s lead list, select the leads, then Row actions → Download selected to get a CSV (a campaign download carries fewer columns). Leave anyone who unsubscribed out of the import.
  2. Import the CSV into a sheet. Upload it (SalesScope takes .csv, .tsv and .txt files, not .xlsx), or paste rows from a spreadsheet, and map each column. SalesScope handles heading and preamble rows, flags duplicates, and keeps several emails or phone numbers for one contact.
  3. Connect your mailboxes. Gmail and Google Workspace connect through Google’s own sign-in, and Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 through Microsoft’s; any other provider connects over SMTP, which sends but doesn’t sync replies. Each Team seat brings 5 mailboxes.
  4. Recreate your sequences. Copy each step’s subject and body, swap Instantly’s variables for your sheet’s merge tags, and add call or task steps where a rep should phone. Set the sending window, weekends and stop-on-reply.
  5. Let the warm-up ramp run. A new mailbox starts at 20 emails a day and grows 30% a day to the warm-up ceiling, 200 by default. If your mailboxes already have a sending history, an admin can raise the company’s starting point (up to 300 a day) and ceiling (up to 2,000), always under each provider’s limit. Pause each Instantly campaign before its SalesScope version starts, so nobody gets a step twice.

Bottom line

Pick Instantly when sending is the job: many mailboxes, a warm-up network, lead data and done-for-you infrastructure at a flat price that doesn’t grow with headcount. Pick SalesScope when the job is a sales team working one pipeline — calling and emailing the same people, following up from Today, and sending under guardrails that check every list first. Unsure? Run one real list through each trial and see which your reps keep using.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is SalesScope cheaper than Instantly?

For one person, yes: SalesScope Solo is US$19 a month with 3 mailboxes and 25,000 contacts, while Instantly’s cheapest Outreach plan, Growth, is US$47 a month (US$37.60 billed yearly) for 1,000 uploaded contacts and 5,000 emails a month. For teams, usually not on list price: a team of three pays US$117 a month for SalesScope Team (US$39 per person) against US$97 for Instantly Hypergrowth, or US$144 with Instantly’s Growth CRM. Prices as of October 2026.

Does SalesScope have email warm-up like Instantly?

Not the same kind. Instantly warms mailboxes by exchanging emails with its warm-up network, which it says has over 1,000,000 accounts. SalesScope has no warm-up network; it ramps real sending instead. A new mailbox starts at 20 emails a day and grows 30% a day to a ceiling of 200 a day by default, and an admin can change both. Our email warm-up guide explains the difference.

Can I import my leads from Instantly into SalesScope?

Yes. Download your leads from Instantly’s lead list as a CSV (select them, then Row actions → Download selected), import the file into a SalesScope sheet and map each column; duplicates are flagged as it imports. Sequences don’t travel in the file, so recreate them in SalesScope, and leave out anyone who unsubscribed.

Does SalesScope have a dialer like Instantly’s CRM?

SalesScope has a call queue rather than a phone system. It builds the queue from your sheet or Today’s list, shows the next contact’s details and dials through your own phone or softphone; you log the outcome with one key and book callbacks. It doesn’t place or record calls. Instantly’s CRM add-on calls and texts from the browser, using phone numbers and credit bought from Instantly.

What is the best Instantly alternative for a small sales team?

It depends on what the team does all day. For high-volume cold email across many mailboxes, a flat-priced sending platform such as Instantly is hard to beat on price. If the same few people call and email their leads and need a CRM, SalesScope puts the sheet, the call queue, the inbox and reminders in one place for US$39 per person a month on Team, or US$19 for one person on Solo. Both have a 14-day trial with no card needed.

One sheet. Every lead. Every follow-up.

Bring your contacts, connect your mailboxes, and let SalesScope keep the sending safe while your team works the replies.
