Cold email software that sends from your own mailboxes
SalesScope’s cold email software builds campaigns as multi-step sequences — threaded follow-ups, call steps and tasks — and sends them through the Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or SMTP mailboxes you already own: paced, tracked and stopped the moment someone replies.
- Follow-ups in the same thread
- Stops on reply, bounce or unsubscribe
- Every address checked before enrolling
Email sequence software with the follow-ups built in
Campaigns and sequences are one workflow in SalesScope: an opening email, the follow-ups and the calls that go with them.
Your mailboxes, not a shared pool
Every email leaves through a mailbox you connected, so replies come back to you and the reputation you build is your own.
Threaded follow-ups
Follow-ups go out as replies in the opening email’s thread by default, the way a person checks back in. Any step can start a new thread instead.
Call and task steps
Mix email with call and task steps. They land in the rep’s Today list and dialer on the day they are due.
Automated follow-ups that stop
By default a reply or a booked meeting stops the contact, and bounces and unsubscribes always do. Stopping on a click is one switch away.
Sending windows
Send only on the days and hours you choose, in the time zone you choose — weekdays 9 to 5, New York time, until you change it.
Automatic pacing
Spreads the day’s emails across the sending window with gaps between them, or holds to a fixed number an hour if you prefer.
Cold email campaigns that read like one person wrote them
The composer is a rich-text editor with merge tags that carry fallbacks, so a missing first name can read “there” instead of leaving a gap. A live spam check scores each email from 0 to 10 as you type, and each mailbox can add its own signature, set once.
- Merge tags such as {{first_name|there}} and {{company_name}}
- Flags trigger phrases, capitals, link shorteners and fake “Re:” subjects
- Preview every email as a real contact on your list will see it
- Reusable templates, with a default for quick sends
Saw that {{company}} added two Midwest lanes this quarter. Teams at that stage usually lose a day a week to chasing carrier updates by email.
Worth a 10-minute look at how we cut that to minutes?

Stops the moment someone answers
SalesScope reads replies, bounces and auto-replies from connected Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 mailboxes. A reply stops that contact’s sequences and lands in the Inbox, while an out-of-office never counts as a reply, so it can’t end a sequence early.
- Replies matched to the email they answer
- Unsubscribes and “remove me” replies stop the person everywhere
- Answer from the Inbox, in the same thread
- Replies to SMTP-sent mail aren’t detected

Every send checked against the rules first
A sequence can’t launch without steps, a connected sender, written emails and sending days. After that, every email waits for its mailbox’s daily limit, the company’s sending hours and the address’s own history before it goes.
- Nobody unchecked is ever enrolled
- One sequence email per address a day, across every rep
- Contacts already emailed can be skipped
- Queued, retried and delivered once — never twice
From list to launched sequence
Choose the audience
Pick contacts from your sheet; they are enrolled in sheet order. Checked addresses join at once, the rest as soon as the checker clears them.
Write the steps
An opening email, follow-ups in the same thread, and any call or task steps, each with a delay in days and hours.
Preview and schedule
Read each email as a real contact will see it, then choose the sender, sending hours, pacing, tracking and stop rules.
Launch and follow the results
Replies, bounces and unsubscribes stop contacts on their own, and results show for the whole sequence and for each step.
What to look for in cold email software
Cold email software sends personalized emails to people who haven’t heard from you yet, follows up on a schedule and stops when they answer. Almost any tool can send a sequence. The differences that matter show up later: in where the email is sent from, how the follow-ups behave, and what happens when a list turns out worse than you thought.
Where the email is sent from
SalesScope never uses a shared sending pool. It sends only through mailboxes you connect — Gmail and Google Workspace by signing in with Google, Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 by signing in with Microsoft, or any other provider over SMTP — so replies arrive in your own mailbox and your domain’s reputation depends on your sending alone.
How automated follow-ups behave
Automated follow-ups work when they read like a person checking back in: in the same thread, on working days, a few days apart, and never after someone has replied. Good email sequence software lets you choose sending hours in the time zone your prospects keep, skip weekends, and stop on a reply, a booked meeting or an unsubscribe. The cold email follow-up guide covers timing and wording.
What protects the domain
The quickest way to damage a sending domain is to mail a list nobody checked, at a volume the mailbox hasn’t earned. Look for verification before sending, daily limits that respect each provider’s ceiling, a warm-up ramp for new mailboxes and an automatic stop when bounces climb. SalesScope runs all four; see email verification and email deliverability.
Unsubscribes and compliance
Every campaign email from SalesScope carries a visible unsubscribe link and one-click List-Unsubscribe headers, and an opt-out stops the person in every sequence. The rules for cold email differ by country; the cold email compliance guide explains the main ones. It is general information, not legal advice.
One record for every channel
Cold email campaigns rarely work alone. In SalesScope the same contacts sit in a spreadsheet CRM, call steps feed the sales dialer, and replies land in a unified inbox, so nobody has to reconcile one tool with another.
Frequently asked questions
Which mailboxes can I send cold email from?
Gmail and Google Workspace mailboxes connect by signing in with Google, and Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 mailboxes by signing in with Microsoft. SalesScope sends through each provider’s own API and reads those mailboxes for replies, bounces and auto-replies. Any other provider connects over SMTP: the credentials are tested live when you connect, and an encrypted connection is required. SMTP mailboxes send but don’t sync, and a reply is matched only in the mailbox that sent the email, so replies to SMTP-sent mail aren’t detected and don’t stop sequences.
Do follow-ups stay in the same thread?
Yes, by default. Each follow-up goes out as a reply in the opening email’s thread, under the thread’s subject, so the prospect sees one conversation. You can switch any step to go out as a new email with its own subject line instead.
What stops a sequence for a contact?
A reply stops it by default, and so does a booked meeting. A bounce, an unsubscribe, a complaint or a reply asking to be removed always stops it, and an opt-out stops the person in every sequence, at every address they have. You can also choose to stop on a click. Out-of-office auto-replies are recognized and never count as replies.
Are opens and clicks tracked?
Open and click tracking are on by default for new sequences, apply to HTML emails and can be switched off per sequence. Click tracking wraps each link so it still goes only where your email pointed. Some regions require consent for open tracking, so check what applies to your audience.
How many cold emails can I send a day?
It depends on each mailbox. SalesScope holds Gmail mailboxes to 500 a day, Google Workspace to 1,500 by default and Outlook.com to 300; a Microsoft 365 mailbox’s limit starts at 500 a day, with a warning before it goes past 2,000. Within those limits, a new mailbox warms up from 20 a day. The free trial allows 100 emails a day per mailbox. The deliverability page explains every limit, and the cold email capacity calculator helps you plan volume across mailboxes.
