Outbound sales for startups, in one place
Solo is built for one person doing their own outreach. It costs US$19 a month, or US$190 a year, and every part of it works on the same sheet.
One sheet for every lead
A spreadsheet-style grid you already know how to use. Import a CSV, paste rows, add your own columns and move people through your stages.
Sequences from your mailboxes
Email steps that follow up in the same thread, plus call and task steps, sent through the Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook or Microsoft 365 mailboxes you connect.
A dialer for the calls
Call through a queue built from the sheet. Your own phone or softphone dials, and one key logs how the call went.
Replies in one Inbox
Replies, bounces and auto-replies from your connected Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365 mailboxes land in one place, and a reply stops that person’s sequence.
Guardrails for your domain
A warm-up ramp, a daily ceiling per mailbox, address checks before every bulk send and a breaker that pauses a mailbox that starts bouncing.
Today, so nothing slips
The calls, follow-ups, meetings and tasks due today, overdue first, with a reminder ten minutes before each booked call.
Why one sheet beats five tools when you sell alone
When you are the whole sales team, every extra tool is another place a lead can fall through. In SalesScope the list you import is the audience a sequence sends to, the queue the dialer works through and the record of every email, reply and call. Nothing is exported, re-imported or reconciled, so the sheet you open on Friday is the truth.
- Email, call and task steps in one sequence
- Follow-ups in the same thread
- Stops on a reply, a bounce or an opt-out
- Sending windows in your time zone
Outreach that fits around the rest of your job
Today lists the calls, follow-ups, meetings and tasks that are due, overdue first. Call steps from your sequences land there and in the dialer, so a busy week doesn’t quietly drop the follow-up that mattered. Your working day starts at 6am in your own time zone, and a booked call rings ten minutes before and again at the time.
- Overdue work first
- Reminders ring once, across tabs and devices
- Yesterday’s numbers on your first visit
- The call queue resumes where you stopped
Your first week of founder-led outbound
Set it up once, then spend your time on replies and calls.
Connect your mailboxes
Connect a Gmail or Google Workspace address with Google sign-in, an Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 address with Microsoft sign-in, or another provider over SMTP. Solo includes three mailboxes, and mail goes out from them, not from a shared pool.
Bring in your list
Upload a CSV and map its columns, or paste rows straight from a spreadsheet. Every address is checked before any bulk send.
Write a short sequence
An email, a follow-up in the same thread, a call, a last note. SalesScope shows who is missing a merge field before you launch.
Let the ramp run
A new mailbox starts at 20 emails a day by default and grows about 30% a day, so volume builds while your first replies come in.
Cold email for founders: what actually matters
Founder-led sales is the stretch between your first customers and your first sales hire, when you write the emails, make the calls and remember who said “try me next quarter”. Tools built for large sales floors are more than you need; a spreadsheet with a mail merge is less. You need one list, a few honest follow-ups, a way to call the people who reply, and nothing that puts the company’s domain at risk.
Protect the domain before you add volume
A domain’s reputation is shared by every email sent after the one that damaged it, including the ones to customers and investors. SalesScope checks every address and its domain before any bulk send and won’t enroll addresses nobody has checked. If bounces still climb past your limit (5% by default, judged after 50 sends), the mailbox is held and its sequences pause until you validate the rest of the audience and resume them. Some founders also send outreach from a separate domain so the main one never carries the risk. Read cold email deliverability for the full picture and SPF, DKIM and DMARC for the records receivers check first.
How much one founder can send
A new mailbox starts at 20 emails a day by default and grows about 30% a day until it levels off at 200. SalesScope never sends more than 500 a day from a Gmail mailbox, 1,500 from a Google Workspace mailbox by default or 300 from an Outlook.com mailbox. A Microsoft 365 mailbox’s limit starts at 500 a day, with a warning before you raise it past 2,000. Automated sending stops a little short of each ceiling so you can still reply by hand. Three warmed-up mailboxes on Solo give you up to 600 emails a day at the default ceiling, more than most founders can follow up on well. The cold email capacity calculator runs the numbers for your setup, and Gmail sending limits explains them.
Follow up without becoming a nuisance
A sequence stops the moment someone replies, bounces or asks to be removed, and no address gets more than one sequence email a day. Every campaign email carries an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers. Read how to follow up on a cold email for timing, and cold email compliance for the rules where your prospects are.
Is SalesScope the right founder-led sales tool for you?
Not the right fit if you need
- Calls placed or recorded inside the app
- Replies synced from SMTP mailboxes
- A database of leads to buy
- LinkedIn or WhatsApp steps in a sequence
A good fit if you
- Sell yourself and have no sales team yet
- Send from Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook or Microsoft 365
- Mix cold email with phone calls
- Want guardrails rather than a warm-up network
Frequently asked questions
How much does SalesScope cost for a founder?
The Solo plan is US$19 a month, or US$190 a year, because a year costs ten months. In India it is ₹999 a month before GST. It includes 3 mailboxes, 25,000 contacts, sequences, the dialer, the Inbox and templates. New companies start with a 14-day free trial, no card needed. See pricing for every plan.
Can I send cold email from my own Gmail address?
Yes. Connect a Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox with Google sign-in and SalesScope sends as you, through that mailbox; Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 mailboxes connect the same way with Microsoft sign-in. SalesScope also reads these mailboxes for replies, bounces and auto-replies, so a reply stops the sequence. Other providers connect over SMTP: they send, but their replies are not synced.
How many cold emails can a founder send a day?
It depends on the mailbox and how long it has been warming up. A new mailbox starts at 20 a day by default and grows about 30% a day to a ceiling of 200. SalesScope shows one number per mailbox for what it can still send today, with the reason that limits it. Read Gmail sending limits or try the capacity calculator.
What happens when I hire my first salesperson?
Invite them and move to the Team plan: US$39 per person a month, with 5 mailboxes per person, 250,000 contacts, roles, sending caps and permissions. Your sheet, sequences and history stay where they are, and an upgrade is charged straight away, prorated. See SalesScope for sales teams.
Does the dialer make the calls for me?
No. The dialer queues your calls and shows everything known about each contact, then hands the number to your own phone or softphone. SalesScope does not place or record calls. You log the outcome with one key, and a callback or a booked meeting asks when and adds the task to Today.
