This Refund and Cancellation Policy is part of the Terms of Service and applies to every SalesScope subscription bought from CargoScope LLC (“SalesScope”, “we”, “us”).
In short
- Every new company gets a 14-day free trial, with no card needed.
- Cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- No refunds for partial periods, unused seats or unused mailboxes.
- Duplicate charges and billing errors are refunded in full.
1. Try it first: the 14-day free trial
Every new company starts on a 14-day free trial, with no card needed, so you can try SalesScope with your own mailboxes and contacts before you pay anything. The trial includes one workspace, two mailboxes and 25,000 contacts, and each mailbox can send up to 100 emails a day. If you don’t choose a plan, you are never charged: at the end of the trial the account is locked, which pauses sending, and nothing is deleted.
2. How billing works
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and a year costs the same as ten months. They renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are before tax, and any tax that applies is added when you pay. Rupee prices are for companies in India and are before GST; companies elsewhere pay in US dollars. The pricing page shows the current plans.
3. Cancelling your plan
- Open billing. In SalesScope, an admin opens Plan & billing from the account menu.
- Choose Manage billing. This opens the billing portal, which Stripe runs for us.
- Cancel the plan. Your plan keeps running to the end of the period you have paid for, and it is not renewed.
When the paid period ends, the account is locked: sending pauses and nothing new can be added. Nothing is deleted, and admins can still sign in and export the account’s data. You can choose a plan again at any time. If you also want the account and its data deleted, write to support@salesscope.io after cancelling, and we will delete it within 30 days.
4. When we refund a payment
Payments are non-refundable. We don’t refund partial billing periods, the time left after you cancel, or seats or mailboxes you didn’t use. There are two exceptions:
- Duplicate charges and billing errors. If you were charged twice for the same thing, or charged an amount that doesn’t match your plan, we refund the incorrect charge in full.
- Where the law requires a refund. Nothing in this policy limits a refund that the law gives you.
If something went wrong on our side
If SalesScope let you down — for example, during a prolonged outage — write to support@salesscope.io. We will look at what happened and make it right with a credit or a refund, at our discretion. And if we ever close your account for a reason other than a breach of the Terms, we refund the fees you prepaid for the time after it closes.
5. Upgrades, downgrades and seats
- Upgrades are charged straight away, prorated for the rest of the current period, and take effect once the payment goes through.
- Downgrades become a credit on your next invoices, not a cash refund.
- Switching between monthly and yearly keeps your renewal date, and the difference is prorated the same way.
- Seats. Adding a person to a yearly plan is charged straight away; on a monthly plan, it goes on the next invoice. Removing a person gives a prorated credit on a later invoice.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, a 7-day grace period starts. Everything keeps working, Stripe retries the card, and admins see a banner asking them to update it. If the payment still hasn’t gone through after 7 days, the account is locked: sending pauses and nothing new can be added, but nothing is deleted. Everything resumes as soon as you pay.
7. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, in the currency you paid in. We can’t send a refund anywhere else. We issue it straight away, but it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank. A refund issued soon after the charge may instead show as the original charge disappearing from your statement. Any tax charged on a refunded amount is refunded with it.
8. Questions
For billing questions or refund requests, write to support@salesscope.io from an admin’s email address. Include your company name and, if you have it, the invoice number.
